Raw Material Integrity & Standardized Execution
IKOMA has strict procedures in every phase of production—controlling everything from raw material quality to final surface roughness. Guided by an international quality control system, all colleagues follow the same high standard of operation at every stage to ensure absolute consistency and reliability.
Piston Rod Precision
With over 30 years of manufacturing expertise, IKOMA treats the piston rod as the uncompromising core of every shock absorber. Each rod undergoes at least 15 meticulous production stages, governed by rigorous standards for roundness, surface roughness, and material hardness.
While inferior piston rods may drastically reduce production costs, they are a leading cause of premature wear, seal failure, and degraded performance. At IKOMA, we engineer only the highest-grade piston rods to support enduring durability and responsive damping.
Accessories & Components
Shock absorber accessories are engineered to match specific chassis designs and suspension layouts. From fastening hardware to rubber buffer components, each part must deliver exact fitment for the vehicle and its operating environment.
These components endure high thermal loads, continuous vibration, road debris impact, and moisture exposure. Because the failure of even a single bushing or fastener directly compromises vehicle safety, IKOMA holds every accessory to strict durability standards.
Assembly Control, Damper Oil & 100% Inspection
Here at IKOMA, we follow strict assembly protocols, including the thorough washing of pistons and valves, inner tube lubrication, and the precise filling of high-grade damping oil. To handle severe environments, IKOMA utilizes dedicated oil formulations engineered to perform reliably in cold conditions and on rough, unpaved terrain.
Before leaving the factory, each IKOMA shock absorber is individually inspected across every critical checkpoint: weld seams, oil seals, dyno damping force, and fitment accuracy. We build and verify every unit to ensure it reaches the customer in ready-to-perform condition.
